FORT JESUS AND JUMBA LA MTWANA

This is a culmination of both historical and cultural tour. Depart your favorite coastal local hotel in the
morning and indulge to a tour to the Fort Jesus, then the Jumba La Mtwana which is allocated in Kilifi north of Mombasa. They are remains of the 13th Century Swahili settlement, and consist of well preserved mosques, tombs, and domestic houses. Among the exhibits are the artifacts of imported Chinese and Islamic pottery, glass and shell beads.

They stand as one of the best historical sites in the coast. Lunch at trekkers’ restaurant which is on the way to Jumba Ruins. Visit one of the local schools before you disembark. Dinner will be at your hotel

SHIMONI CAVES AND MWANA MOSQUE

Depart your favourite coastal hotels early in the morn just before the scorch, to one of the attractions at the South Coast, this is the 15th century Mwana Mosque.To date local faithful worship in its ruins.

To elevate your adrenaline levels explore the Shimoni Caves (Shimoni is Swahili word for hole) that have remained a mystery to the historians and archaeologists. Humans used this cave for unknown reasons. Recently a shrine was discovered in the caves,although with a little bitty speculation that slave traders may have used the caves

Lunch will be at one of the most favored hotel.
